Breakfast Smoothie

Morning routines with kids are mostly rushed and can sometimes be really hectic; and ensuring that your child has had a healthy breakfast is sometimes hit and miss! I have been on a mission of finding a fast, easy and nutritious breakfast lately, and breakfast smoothies has been our go to breakfast for a few weeks now; here's why

  • They're delicious

  • They're nutritious (make sure you use the right ingredients)

  • They are super fast to make!

  • We can drink them in the car (saves time!)

But what we really love about breakfast smoothies is that they are extremely versatile; you can add fruits, oats, chia seeds, flax seeds and so much more!


Here's our favourite version of breakfast smoothies that we basically have on busy mornings.


Ingredients (for 2-3 kids):

  • 2 cups of milk (fresh milk, oats milk or almond milk)

  • 2 bananas

  • 1 or 2 spoons of honey

  • teaspoon of chia seeds

Mix all of the above in a blender and you are ready to go!
