Early Intervention Program
Little Village's Early Intervention Program is designed for children between the ages of 1;6-4yrs with communication difficulties and delays. The program is a combination of group time as well as individual therapy sessions. It has two main components:
Classroom Environment - the child is part of a classroom environment and get the opportunity to be part of a social group and develop his social skills
Individual Therapy - the child receives individual therapy sessions that target skills that need to be developed, this gives him/her the individualised attention he/she will need.
The class is led by a team of early intervention specialists who work hand in hand with our speech & language and Behaviour therapists to provide a individualised learning experience. It aims to support children's communication skills by offering an Individualised Educational Plan (IEP). Once each students is assessed an IEP is created for them and shared with the parents.
Our small class size of 8 students ensures that each child receives the individualised support he requires to develop.
Each student receives the following the following individual therapy sessions per week:
- 1 hour of Speech & Language Therapy per week
- 1 hour of Individual Academic Support
- 1 hour of Behaviour Therapy
- 1 hour of physiotherapy (depending on the child's needs)
(Extra therapy hours can be scheduled at an extra cost)
Our Timing is 8:00am - 12:30pm
Morning Care is available from 7:30am (additional cost of BD20 per month)
Afternoon Care is available until 2:30pm (additional cost of BD50 per month)
Parent's will receive daily updates via the LVC mobile application, as well as pictures and video's of what's happening in class. IEP meetings and Reviews are scheduled regularly.
Registration is on a monthly basis.
Early Intervention Class Fees are BD450 per month inclusive of therapy sessions.
To register your child, you will need to complete the application form and submit the required documents as well as a registration fee of BD50
