"We're Going on a Bear Hunt" - by Michael Rosen

It's one of our all time favourite stories. Children of different ages enjoy reading it and acting it out. What's not to like?! We're going on an adventure through the forest and river in search of bear! And when we find him .... Aahhhhh! RUN!

Here are 5 activities related to the story that you can try out at home.
1. Sensory Bin
Fill out different trays with water, mud, leaves & twigs, shaving cream. Include little men figures and bear figures and let the your child enjoy getting messy and acting out the story.
2. Obstacle Course Adventure
Set up an obstacle course in your living room with cushions, boxes and chairs and go on an adventure with your little ones! Have a blanket set up at the end of the obstacle course for you to go under. "We're never going on a Bear Hunt AGAIN!"
3. Printables
Print out activities from www.twinkl.com They have some great play-dough mats, printable coloring sheets and matching activities.
4. Interactive Story Video

5. Binoculars
Make binoculars for to use on your reenactment obstacle course. Decorate 2 toilet roll tubes with markets, paint and glitter and go on an adventure.
